Jan 31st – Day of Expanding

So my group of friends here are the group from Slippery Rock University which they are great, but I feel like I want to branch out. I’m not one for staying strictly to one group because then you only know that group and no one else. How boring! And I feel like other than Victoria and Dominique, the others just want to stick to their group. I mean we are branching to know other people, hang out with them, go on trips, etc. And they are sticking to just the three of them. Hmm…I like them, they are fun to hang out with and we make a fun group but I want to experience things with others. It’s a little tough though since everyone kind of clings to their school group for awhile, but maybe I can do the same as I did with the Slippery Rock group as with the other schools. Idk. One of the girls in my art class Rachel, also from Auburn, saw me eating a pastry which got us talking about how we both love sweets. Somehow we went from there to now we have pastry dates for Tuesdays and Thursdays together!...That always happens to me, starting off from something small and general to becoming good friends with some event in common and that’s what we do together. I have actually a lot of friends like that! I’m starting to think that maybe branching out won’t be as hard as I think.
